Matti Ulvinen has started as a Product Sales Manager at Polar Night Energy. He will be focusing on sales and product development.
We are happy to announce that Matti Ulvinen has joined Polar Night Energy as a Product Sales Manager. He will be developing our sales processes as well as doing the actual sales and managing our customer relationships. He will also be part of project management and R&D.
For the last five years Ulvinen worked for Valmet, which is a leading global developer and supplier of process technologies, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries.
– I have a lot of experience about international large-scale projects from start to finish. At Valmet I was involved for example in product development, sales projects, delivery projects and R&D, says Ulvinen.
He has a Master of Science degree from Tampere University of Technology where he studied Energy and process technology. His studies included for example thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
During his career Ulvinen has had a wide range of projects relating to the environment, from climate neutrality and carbon capture to water treatment and flue gas scrubbers in energy and marine industry.
– Sustainability and environmentally friendly values have always been on my mind. That’s why I think that Polar Night Energy has a great product and the whole business idea is wonderful. I’m looking forward to working for PNE and developing the company.
